Durango to Taos Route

Take Highway 160 to Highway 84 east, crossing into New Mexico near the Jicarilla Apache reservation. At Tierra Amarilla, go east on Highway 64. About three miles north of Taos, at the intersection of Highways 64, 522 and 150, turn right (south) on Highway 64. This becomes the main road through Taos. See directions to the inn on the Detailed Map of Taos. Approximate drive time from Durango: 4-1/2 hours.
